Dental Equipment
Dental equipment or Dental instruments specially used by dental professionals to perform the clinical related tasks. There are many types of dental equipment that are commonly used in dental practices, such as surgeries, cleaning and restoration of the teeth/tooth. Dental equipment tools are used by dentists--and also often by assistants--to examine, remove teeth, restore teeth as well as maintain the gums and the rest of the related problems. Dental equipment includes dental chairs, scaling units, hand pieces, CAD/CAM systems, instrument delivery systems, dental lasers, intra oral and extra oral radiology equipment, and CBCT scanners.

amount of amalgam.

Carver
The amalgam, which is inserted into the
drilled portion of the tooth, needs to have a smooth surface that will allow
the upper and lower teeth to fit together when the patient bites down.

Spatula
Whenever a tooth is capped, the crown,
being either stainless steel or porcelain, will need to be glued to the
remaining portion of the tooth. The assistant will use the spatula to mix the
proper glue solution and powder to create the desired mixture.
